Til tross for den økende bruken av algoritmer for risikovurdering, har journalister slitt med å få tilgang til og teste disse systemene. I fjor, for første gang, klarte et team av journalister å få tilgang til kildekoden, maskinlæringsmodellfilen og treningsdataene til en maskinlæringsalgoritme for velferdssvindel som ble brukt i den nederlandske byen Rotterdam. Denne praktiske workshopen vil la deltakerne arbeide direkte med Rotterdam-algoritmen og treningsdataene for å lære hvordan man utvikler og tester hypoteser om algoritmer for risikovurdering.
